Yes. Call or email us for your specific requests and we can send you samples squares.
Can I send my own laptop (or other electronics) to you for customization?
Yes. We allow customers to send us their own products for customization. Customers wishing to purchase a new product can purchase the item through Computer Choppers.
Can I send individual parts or panels to you that I want plated/anodized?
No. We only accept the full item, otherwise we cannot warranty any of the parts.
How long does it take to customize something?
Delivery time depends on the product and customization request. In-stock small items have a 1-3 day turnaround. Items not in stock typically take anywhere from 2-3 weeks. Larger products such as laptops can take 3-4 weeks for plating and 1-2 weeks for anodizing. Detailed requests for hand engraving or highly customized jewelry can add extra time for delivery. Delays can and do happen from time to time. We do our best to meet our specific delivery dates but issues can arise with customizing so we let our customers know immediately if we are going to be late on delivery. If you have a specific event that you will need a product for, contact us at least one month in advance.
Why does it take so long to customize my laptop?
Large items such as laptops are very detailed and need to be fully stripped down to bare metal and shaved in areas where tolerances become an issue. Plating is the most time consuming process. Once we have all of the products plated, installation and final testing typically takes 2-3 days.
What form of payment do you accept?
A 50% deposit is the minimum due to begin customizing work. The remainder is due upon project completion. At this time we do not accept credit cards. International payments can be made by wire transfer, western union, or money gram.
- Cash (U.S. Dollars)
- Personal or Business Check (10 day hold)
- Money Order (10 day hold)

Are deposits refundable?
Most deposits are non-refundable. If we are ever unable to deliver a product in a reasonable amount of time, you will be fully refunded.
Can I return a custom product?
Custom made products cannot be returned. We can replace or repair any parts if a product is defective.
What does your warranty cover?
Warranties vary in length with the product and customizing selected. The original hardware is always covered in addition to the customization you select. Customer supplied products receive a shorter hardware warranty due to the item being used prior to our customizations.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Domestic items are typically shipped fully insured overnight using USPS Express or UPS. Customers can request the specific service they prefer from USPS, UPS, or Fedex. We do not charge extra on shipping. To receive a shipping quote for your item, please call or email us with your your city, state, zipcode, or country.

How many types of plating do you offer?
We have over 50 different types of plating and finishes. See our services section for samples of each.
Do you use a cheap portable plating system like other luxury companies? No. We have a large facility that specilizes in custom plating and finishes. We have large tanks that can fit items as big as a television.
What is the difference between your plating and other luxury companies?
Other luxury companies who use cheap plating systems often have no protective clear coat and can only plate polished chrome and 24kt gold. These systems were originally meant for plating automobile emblems. This type of plating (also seen on many iPod eBay auctions) will rub off over a short period of time. If a company claims the factory warranty on their product is still valid, that is a good indicator they brushed on the plating with one of these cheap systems.
We have a large facility which specializes in custom plating. That is why we can offer over 50 different types of plating and finishes all with protective clear coats. Our plating will not flake or rub off. Our large tanks allow us to plate larger items such as iMacs, full desktop cases, and LCDs. If you are going to customize a product, make sure and take it to a company who specializes in plating and surface treatments. We offer hardware and customizing warranties with all of our products and stand by our work.
Does your plating have a clear coat?
Most plating (copper, black nickel, 24kt gold, white gold, and rose gold) will receive a baked on clear coat. Chrome and platinum plating does not require a clear coat due to their high scratch resistance.
What is anodizing?
Anodizing is a protective treatment for aluminum products. Most aluminum Apple products are anodized with a clear hard coat.
What colors do you offer?
We offer the entire rainbow of colors and more, see our services section for more details.
What are exotic types of anodizing?
There are a number of ways to customize anodizing : Fades, variegated, patterns, high resolution graphics, and even screen print anodizing. As with all of our custom products, customers can combine customizations such as anodizing with plating to produce a unique look.
What product can I add jewelry to?
Any product! Custom jewelry can be made to fit in almost anything whether it is plastic or metal. Contact us for your specific request.
Can you make the diamonds glow?
In products such as laptops, there is a light source directly behind most logos. Our custom jewelry can be made with holes underneath the stones so the light will shine through.
Can I design my own logo in gold and diamonds?
Yes. All custom logos are made to the client's specific requests. Everything from the base metal to the type of stone, cut, color, and layout are customizable. Customers can request a full 3D rendering of their logo prior to building it. Additional fees apply.
Can diamonds be put in the chassis of my laptop or desktop computer?
Are rare stones available by request?Rare stones can be requested but can delay the build process.
